It was the record release party for Vostok for their first full-length album on Northern Ground Records called 'The Scavenger Low'.

The first band was Jacksonville-now-Orlando Spacebar, who I missed. I keep missing all their shows. I have their CD and it's really good Weezer meets The Faint kinda stuff. Unfourtunately, I loaned out that CD so I can't listen to it anymore. I hope to see them another time.

Vostok came on next. Of all the bands that I've seen playing out lately from Orlando Vostok should get a most improved award with their brand of dreamy indie rock. With adding the additional guitar/piano player they've made their live show quite nice. They played songs from the new CD and a couple of older ones. They are on tour RIGHT NOW up the east coast so check out their webpage for tourdates.
