I went to the early show at Wills Pub. Kenzie's new band, Sound The Alarm, were having their first show. They were really fun. They have a cool Weezerish/Anniversary sound going on. They are playing again this Saturday at Back Booth!

Then The Remedy Session came into my life. They are a trio from Miami, two girls and a guy and their band pretty much blew me away. They reminded me of early Jejune with heavy as fuck drums. That girl was pounding away and the guitars were in your face loud. The vocals between the bass player and guitarist were fantastic. I like them quite a lot and want to see them again. Votes were tallied and I have a huge new crush on the bass player. Ohmigod. P.R.D.C.T..

I stuck around to see Seville, another Miami band. All I knew about them was they were "ex-Dashboard Confessional and The Agency". Whatever that means to you. From what I witnessed they can stand on their own. They were awesome and it'll be quiet certain if they keep it up you will hearing a lot about them. Ya gotta love the shared vocals between the drummer (who sings most) and the guitar player. Good stuff.
