Brodie's Warehouse - Winter Park, FL

Another fun show by The Promise Ring. I never saw Brodie's so packed! It was freaky jungle hot inside. A lot of out of town people came for this (some all the way from Miami).

After a late start Jimmy Eat World rocked the crowd. They were great! I only knew two of their songs and they played one of them: "What I Would Say To You Now." It was their closer and, boy, was it ever. They said their bass player was Chris from Mineral.... I didn't recognize him so I don't know if that was a joke or something [ED- it was a joke].

Of course, The Promise Ring was fun fun fun fun. There aren't many bands that can keep a crowd dancing the entire show like these guys. I was hoping for new songs. We only got one. They had a new bass player. I didn't know who it was. He was not even introduced? He was really good.

They started out with "Is This Thing On?" and kinda went through Nothin Feels Good CD, all the songs played in order, with interruptions with "A Picture Postcard" and "Everywhere In Denver."
