Tonight was Ida and Low at the Sapphire. I've seen them both a million times and every time they just move me. I think this was the first time I've seen Ida where there wasn't some drama involved, which was nice in a way. But then they had to go and do "Back Burner" and I could feel cracks. I was so close to making it through their set without incident. It wasn't the cold air of the Sapphire, it was that song giving me the goosebumps.
The correct
setlist order was: Treasure Chest, Down On Your Back, Dream Date,
Post Prom Disorder, Shrug, Turn Me On, Shoe In, Poor Dumb Bird,
Honeyslide, Shotgun, Back Burner.
Low played "Shame". That's the only one they needed to do, really. That's my favorite. "Below and Above" would have been nice. They did mostly newer stuff. Dan from Ida joined Low on two songs, including a cover of "Little Surfer Girl" by The Beach Boys.
