Neil Hamburger, Das But, Billy Clark.
@ AKA Lounge. Orlando, FL. Thursday June 26, 2008.

Review and pictures by Jeffrey Howard.

Walking up to AKA Lounge, I notice the marque says "TONIGHT: Niel Hamburger". What? People can't spell? Are we at the wrong place? No, it's supposed to be Neil Hamburger, America's Funnyman. AKA Lounge was freezing inside. Opener Billy Clark had no material for the show. It was terrible. Das But is a spoken word guy who trys to be offensive with vuglar "pieces" about incest, rape and every possible offensive topic. Lots of cursing. It's not very good. He still can't do a routine without reading from his notebook. It's good his background music was turned up too loud. Between them and the freezing cold I was miserable.

Neil Hamburger finally came on and everything previous didn't matter anymore. He told tons of his jokes, breaking out all his Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashmouth, Courtney Love material. And newer stuff where he tackles Heath Ledger. The room was loud... "WHY??????" It was crazy! I don't think he usually performs to an audience that knows his material. Neil Hamburger is hilarious.
