Tonight was pretty much overload. If you weren't there tonight at Sapphire to witness the Mary Timony Band and Shannon Wright show then you won't know how amazing it was. Amazing! I tell you!! Gosh. So good. You have no idea.

Shannon Wrights solo show has been kicked up a notch with the addition of a drummer. And more rockin' numbers which makes me think maybe she will get a full band together sometime in the future. I can dream can't I? She pours so much nervous energy into her music it's almost hard to watch. It's beautiful.

Mary Timony's Band consisted of Jeff Goddard from Karate on bass and Christina Files from Victory At Sea on drums. Nice, huh? Mary played the guitars, keyboards and violin. They performed songs off Marys solo album 'Mountains' like "I Fire Myself" and "The Bell" with the addition of one Helium song "Aging Astronauts". I especially liked "The Hour Glass" with Mary on the violin. I was just in awe of seeing and hearing everything. Everyone knows I am in love with Mary Timony. If you never noticed she has thee cutest ears. It was an excellent show indeed.
