Photograph Feature: DeLeon Springs, Florida.

It was by sheer chance we found an abandoned citrus plant. It was a matter of "Okay, turn right towards Deland" instead of "We should continue towards the Interstate". This plant was laying in wait for us to do some exploring. And what a treat it was. Later we found out this was a historic site called The Strawn Historic Citrus Packing House established in the early 1900's. In 1993 it was granted "Historic" status. All in all there were about 10-15 structures on the compound. This batch of photographs are from the outsides.

Also this place was called "Bob White Oranges".

The largest structure was the main packing house.

Three gas pumps and an air tank.
